Mehan & Hunt Home 15 Hilltop Road, Rose Valley, PAKathryn Mehan and Bruce Hunt are graciously opening their home and garden for viewing by our members. Their home, a fine example of French provincial architecture, was designed by Howell Lewis Shay in 1927-1928.

Faces of Egypt: Documenting the Discovery of King Tutankamen’s Tomb
Rose Valley Museum 41 Rose Valley Road, Rose Valley, PAHoward Freemont Stratton, one of the original stockholders in the community of Rose Valley produced pastel drawings of the peasants in Egypt in 1925-1926 near the site of King Tuankamen's tomb. 18 of these drawings are on exhibit.

Howard Fremont Stratton: Artist, Teacher, Traveler
The School in Rose Valley 20 School Lane, Rose Valley, PASara MacDonald, former Director for Public Services for the University of Arts Libraries, will discuss Stratton's life as a painter, teacher and traveler. Specific attention will be paid to his 1924-25 pastels of the indigenous Egyptian people.
