Ms. Nancy Webster, Independent Scholar, will present a lecture on the life and times of Anna Howard Shaw.
Reverend Doctor Anna Howard Shaw was a minister, physician, ardent feminist, masterful orator and advocate for the women’s suffrage movement and world peace. She lived nearby on Ridley Creek Road from 1904-1915 during the years that she was President of the National American Woman Suffrage Association.
