DESCRIPTION:“Discover the Winterthur Experience”\nExplore the Museum\, Garden and Library at Winterthur.\n\nRose Valley Museum will spend the day at the Henry Francis du Pont Winterthur Estate\, home to the most significant collection of American decorative arts in the world.  We’ll have a presentation of Special Material on Rose Valley and other Arts & Crafts communities by Library Director Rebecca Parmer\, a self-paced tour of the House and Museum Galleries\, an introduction to the Transformations Exhibit by Decorative Arts Associate Professor Catharine Roeber\, and a narrated tram tour of the Gardens and Enchanted Woods. \nThursday\, July 25\, 2024\nWinterthur\, 5105 Kennett Pike\, Winterthur\, DE 19735\n10:00 am – 3:00 pm\nArrive by 9:45 am \n$30 per member ($35 per non-member) – cost covers tours and presentations only. \nTransportation is on your own\, and carpooling is suggested.\nLunch will be a la carte in the Visitor Center Pavillion Cafe. \nReservations required by Wednesday\, July 17\, 2024: email at programs@rosevalleymuseum.org\, by phone at 484-444-2961 (leave a message) or Click here to register online.
