DESCRIPTION:“The Arts & Crafts Movement – John Ruskin to William Lightfoot Price”\nA two-day celebration of the English and American pioneers of the Arts & Crafts Movement and the 1901 Community of Rose Valley.\nRose Valley Borough Council invites the general public to the dedication of the William Lightfoot Price PHMC Historical Marker.\nFollowing the marker dedication\, the Rose Valley Museum and the Decorative Arts Trust invite you to the John Ruskin to William Lightfoot Conference with lectures given by Jim Spates\, George Thomas\, Barbara Macklem and Ryan Berley.  For a complete description of the weekend’s events please click “here“.\nPublic dedication of William Lightfoot Price Historical Marker\nSaturday\, November 6\, 2021 – 10:30 -11:30am\, open to public \nJohn Ruskin to William Lightfoot Price Conference\nSaturday\, November 6\, 2021 – 12:00-6:00pm\nSunday\, November 7\, 2021 – 10:30am-6:00pm \nDeadline for registration has been extended to Thursday\, November 5\, 2021.  Online registration is closed.  Please email programs@rosevalleymuseum.org or call 1-484-444-2961 to leave a message.  There are 5 seats left for the weekend with a few more for Sunday only.\nConference fee:\n$80 per day or $125 for Saturday and Sunday for Rose Valley Museum and Decorative Trust members\n$100 per day or $150 for Saturday and Sunday for non-members\n$50 for Saturday and Sunday for students (Some scholarships are available for students and young professionals studying 20th century architecture and decorative arts.) \nOptional Walking Tour of Arden\, Delaware (includes lunch)\nMonday\, November 8\, 2021\, 10:30am\, $32.  This event has sold out. \nFor everyone’s safety all attendees will be required to wear masks and provide proof of vaccination.  Changes will depend on PA State and Delaware County COVID protocols. \nRegister Now!\nReservations: call 484-444-2961\nPayment can be made online or at the door.
