Owen Stephens”\nAn Exhibit of Art\, Artifacts\, and Memorabilia.\nOpens June 25\, 2022 \ncurated by\nRyan Berley\, Curator\, RVMHS\nMargaret Dee\, RVMHS Board member and cataloger of Starr/Stephens Collection\nSue Keilbaugh\, RVMHS Board member and cataloger of Starr/Stephens Collection\n\nSaturday\, June 25\, 2022 through August 30\, 2023 \nDaniel Owen Stephens\, son of Alice and Charles Stephens\, displayed a passion for astronomy starting in his childhood.  It continued through his teenage years\, when his parents created an observatory above the octagonal stairway at Thunderbird Lodge\, and eventually into his adult career.  Initially\, he studied to become a professional astronomer\, but ultimately merged his astronomical insight into the translation of the visible night sky into art.  The display\, containing his art and literature\, starts in his imaginative youth and ends with his final project\, astronomical paintings for the American Museum of Natural History in New York. \nFree with Museum admission \nDonations can be made online or at the door.
